A minimum of 5 years of experience with industrial machinery as either a maintenance or field service engineer/technician. Experience with safety circuits, power distribution, motor control, VFDs, pneumatics, sensors, analog and digital I/O Knowledge of PC configuration, operating systems and industrial networking Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) or similar programmable logic controllers Experience with communication interfaces and protocols including Ethernet, Ether Net/IP, Profi Bus, RS-485 and RS-232 Experience working with vacuum coating systems or other complex industrial machinery Ability to generate appropriate Service Call reports and documentation A drive for continuous self-improvement and a passion for customer satisfaction Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
