Qualifications:
More than one (1) year experience in building trade/apartment maintenance. HVAC certification or promptly obtain this certification (paid by employer).
Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance and repair. Lift and carry 30 lbs. up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator. Rotating schedule for on-call emergency after-hours response. Current driver's license with non-rated auto insurance to be verified. Bilingual (any language) a plus. Understand and follow written policies. Work under direction of your Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager. Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance. Prompt completion of service requests and emergency responses.
