Summary: The Physical Tester II receives, processes, and maintains records on laboratory samples. This position performs physical tests on aggregates, concrete, cement, lime, and associated materials. The position performs maintenance duties for

Physical Tester I. Maintains certification in American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Testing Technician - Grade I, Strength Testing Technician, and Aggregate Testing Technician.
Participates in AASHTO certification reviews and inspections. Maintains and calibrates equipment and records per AASHTO requirements. Assists Physical Testing Supervisor in writing reports and setting up work orders.
