of work performance. Unit Description: The North Prep and Recovery Unit (NPRU) is a 17-bed unit located on the seventh floor of the North building. The unit prepares patients for procedures as well as ensuring a smooth, quick and comfortable recovery by providing high quality nursing care based on ASPAN standards.
Service is extended primarily to adults but also includes pediatric and adolescent patients. Patients may be in Phase I or Phase II recovery upon arrival from their procedure. Hours of operation are 6 AM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The unit is closed overnight on weekends and holidays.
