The Retail Training Specialist is deemed part of the critical response team. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and facilitate comprehensive training programs tailored to convenience store employees. They should cover product knowledge, customer service, cash handling, safety protocols, inventory management, and store procedures. Design, and implement training materials, modules and resources tailored
to the needs of our employees that will ensure an effective learning experience and foster consistency from one location to the next. Effectively communicate the company's culture, values, and goals.
Observe and backss the performance of employees during training sessions. Provide constructive feedback and support to reinforce training goals and encourage continuous improvement. Maintain relationships with Retail Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, and other relevant teams to develop and implement training as new needs arise. Promptly address questions, concerns, and challenges related to store operations. Be a subject matter expert on Gilbarco Passport and PDI store paperwork. Stay
updated with industry trends, market developments, and emerging best practices in convenience store operations and customer service.
Share relevant information and insights with store teams to enhance their knowledge and performance. Possess comprehensive knowledge of health codes as well as tobacco and alcohol regulations at the city, state and county levels. Capable of educating employees on these matters. Recognize and develop potential talent to guarantee effective succession planning. Participate in meetings, training workshops, and conferences to keep training relevant. Seek out new ideas and platforms for training. single day. We are looking for merchandisers to service the American Greetings Department in retail locations. The starting pay is $12.60 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (the listed rates are subject to change based on work location).
After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $13.30. After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $14.00. We offer flexible work scheduling.
