Job Description: Maximus Federal is on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Transformation Architect/Engineer, equipped with extensive technical know-how in cloud computing and a nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by federal agencies with national security mandates.

This role demands a blend of technical proficiency and strategic insight to drive cloud transformation in sensitive and high-stakes environments. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and deploy advanced cloud-based solutions, specifically tailored for national security federal agencies, ensuring operational excellence and mission alignment. Utilize containerization and microservices architectures, leveraging technologies

such as Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing frameworks. • Engage actively with IT and security teams to align cloud infrastructure with stringent federal compliance standards, including security protocols and regulatory mandates.

• Ensure rigorous adherence to federal IT security regulations, implementing cloud security best practices and technologies like IAM, encryption, VPNs, and firewalls. • Spearhead comprehensive cloud transformation projects, encompassing meticulous migration strategies, robust cloud architecture frameworks, and continuous optimization processes. • Lead complex cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring strategies,

ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. • Develop and execute comprehensive cloud adoption roadmaps, incorporating risk management and business continuity planning.

• Design resilient and scalable cloud architectures, focusing on high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies. • Continuously analyze and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance improvements, and resource utilization using tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or Google Cloud's cost management tools. • Serve as a technical authority, imparting expertise in state-of-the-art cloud technologies and fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning.

• Provide expert-level guidance on cloud-native technologies and emerging trends, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures for cloud infrastructure and operations. • Conduct thorough backssments and enhancements of existing cloud infrastructures, focusing on scalability, security, and performance optimization. • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of cloud services and applications, utilizing tools like AWS Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor, or Google Operations.

• Enhance security posture and response capabilities by integrating advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. • Position will allow hybrid work model. Qualifications: • Possession of an active secret clearance or DHS EOD, with a preference for Top Secret or higher. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience. • A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing, specifically addressing the needs of federal agencies. • Expert-level proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, substantiated by current associate, specialty, or professional cloud platform certifications.

Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package.

Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
