About the Infrastructure Automation Team: A team of full stack engineers creating microservices and a modern single-pane of glass UI using Angular, Golang, and Python. Focused on tools and automation for operating our many commercial and government clouds. Identifying areas of opportunity to make complex operations and information gathering
quicker and easier by creating new applications for a broadly cross-functional internal audience. About the Developer Experience Team: Focused on maintaining and improving the overall CI/CD process for cloud microservices.
Including pipelines for code analysis, test execution, artifact management and more. We continually review the overall documentation and onboarding process to ensure new-hires are able to immediately start adding value. We value collaboration and aim to maintain cohesion and consistency by upholding and hosting ongoing discussions around standards and specifications. What You'll Do: You will work with various stakeholders, including senior leadership across both management
and IC’s to define a roadmap that adapts to the evolving needs of engineers at Crowd Strike.
You will be responsible for managing two small teams of engineers as well as making technical contributions to the team’s mission. You will lead and participate in our team's strong culture of self-organizing and egalitarian decision-making, both in group discussions and regular one-on-one meetings with team members. You will help us organize and manage our work (through scrums and agile practices), and help us grow and develop professionally, while helping to expand the team through hiring. You will collaborate with the members of the team to develop plans for professional growth within a yearly review cycle.
What You'll Need: Are familiar with full-stack development practices, developing in containerized environments, and shipping code. Are familiar with general CI/CD processes and supporting tool chains such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Code Analysis tools and Kubernetes. Comfortable leading open-ended research-focused efforts, and developing them into a series of concrete deliverables. Communication skills - Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels from executive staff to engineers. You've shipped code and have been developing software for at least 3 years.
Nice to Have: Management or first-hand experience with any of the following, more is better: Previous experience within a developer productivity/experience team. You have some experience with distributed or concurrent systems. Experience with Golang, including knowledge of Go Modules and general dependency management practices.
