Weekend night shift: Friday through Monday, 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM (4-10s schedule) MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Be responsible for all engine and generator maintenance related to the turbine generator units and assist with subsystems as assigned. Perform all service checks following manufacturer recommendations.
Keep adequate and proper operational and maintenance logs. Identify all spare parts as needed for use and stock inventory. Responsible for all fire suppression systems and maintenance connected with the generators. Interface with outside service contractors used for specialty work on the turbine generator units. Responsible for receiving fuel deliveries and tank records. Direct
maintenance personnel as assigned by the Chief Engineer. Perform other job related work as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of five (5) years turbine engine experience.
High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required. Capable of trouble shooting using prints, diagrams, and specifications Possess a strong background in gas turbine engines. A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years experience with generator systems. Ability to write and comprehend written and oral instructions and correspondence.
