flexible, and innovative solutions. Job Summary Core BTS is seeking a Service Now Technical Architect in our Managed Services practice who would be responsible for design, maintenance, and development of new features and functionality to allow us to better serve our client base.
This person must have a deep understanding of ITSM capabilities and processes, a background in implementing technology to support ITIL frameworks, Service Now technical acumen and experience, and will serve as an internal escalation point for leadership and peers. This position is responsible for the following: Design, development, and implementation of Service Now customization including, but not limited to
core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations Responsible for programming workflow, enhancements, and integrations with Service Now platform applications Integration and Service Now Scripting (Glide, (Java Script, Ajax, XML, JSON, etc.
) HTML, and CSS) Executing assigned project-based work for technical implementations of new solutions or changes to current solutions Perform upgrades and customizations of Service Now platform applications based on guidance from project manager, architects, ITIL practice leads, and customers Providing support/guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing
processes Reviewing and approving 3rd party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy D efining and validating non-functional (technical) requirements and establishing traceability between requirements and application architecture/design Technical Skills and Experience 4+ years of experience in Service Now development, implementation, and integration 4+ years of Service Now ITSM Experience successfully carrying out end to end implementation of IT solutions and support Knowledge of ITIL, minimum Foundation level, ideally higher Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the Service Now integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS Required Standard Skills Working with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing business needs, and defining the integration requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and communicate well with clients Ability to develop rapport with internal technical staff and leadership, excellent interpersonal skills Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Self-starter, self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solution Desired Certifications Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM) Benefits You'll love working at Core BTS not just for the usual benefits, but for our environment and culture!
