Help developers with any technical issues related to AWS components (Lambdas, SNS, Athena, Step Functions, Glue Jobs & Triggers) Help developers with any technical issues related to Snowflake components (External Tables, Internal Tables, Tasks, Streams, Warehouses) Conduct Po Cs for new technology exploration e.
g. DBT for implementing SCD Type2 tables, Data Quality testing using DBT, Data Masking in Snowflake. Coordinate code merges to Sandbox Master and releases/deployments
to UAT & PROD (both AWS and Snowflake ), via Gitlab Understand business requirements for upcoming data ingestion work (Securities data, Master data, Positions data, etc.
) What’s the timeline for implementing the pipeline? What level of testing is required e. g. Source-to-Target reconciliation, Basic Data Quality vs Functional Testing) What volume of data are we dealing with? How will the data be consumed once it has been hosted in the Cloud Data Lake ( AWS S3 ) and Warehouse ( Snowflake )? Work with client Lead Architect/Leads to resolve dependencies, technical challenges, etc. Team includes 2 testers. So have to work with Test managers/Leads to understand the scope of ad-hoc testing
work that comes in (from other teams reporting to the client VP) For some components where Genpact is responsible for end-to-end development, publish WBS structure and delivery plan (doesn’t require MPP or such, basic Excel is fine).
Ensure proper documentation is created for the new pipelines, extracts, etc. being developed (Confluence).
