seeks contract resources to support and execute the following tasks: Evaluate technologies and determine risk of technology architecture, implementation, and suitability for the House. This may require interaction with vendors to gather product security features, research vulnerabilities/weaknesses, and provide implementation recommendations to Senior Management.

Architect and design optimal security practices when developing new cloud-based systems, network and application functionality. Review and document existing systems architecture and technology portfolio, with a focus on the continuous improvement. Responsible for designing and implementing cloud computing solutions. This includes

designing the cloud infrastructure, designing the cloud application architecture, and designing the cloud security architecture. Advise and develop solutions for multi-cloud environment supporting cutting-edge missions with a preference for experience in this order: AWS, Azure, Google Define migration strategies to drive digital transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.

Lead technical discussions with senior executives that drive decisions and implementation approaches. Remain current on industry best practices and emerging technologies. Other duties as assigned. The Contractor shall provide individuals with the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Bachelor’s degree in a

related field. A minimum of ten (10) plus of experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.

Eight (8) plus years of experience implementing or supporting cloud-based cyber security. Expert with cloud architectures (e. g. Saa S, Paa S), common commercial cloud systems (e. g. Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, Oracle) and cloud security solutions (e. g. Cloud Access Security Broker, Multi-factor Authentication, Zero Trust Architecture). Knowledge of common cyber security technical controls and their application to cloud systems, such as access control, audit and accountability, configuration management, identification and authentication, system and communication protection, and system and information integrity.

Understanding of US Government cyber security standards and methodologies including Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (Fed RAMP). Knowledge of other common industry cyber security standards and organizational best practices. Knowledge of current cyber security threats and vulnerabilities. Understanding of basic information technology concepts, systems, and network architecture. Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment. Achievement of CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or comparable cloud certification is preferred. Powered by Jazz HR
