As a construction manager intern, you will be exposed to all aspects of the job, from project planning to on-site coordination and quality control. You will work closely with the project manager and other members of the construction team to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities Assist the construction manager with a variety of tasks related to on-site project management, including but not limited to: Reviewing and understanding project documents
such as blueprints, specifications, and schedules Assisting with the development of project budgets and timelines Coordinating and communicating with project subcontractors Monitoring project progress and documenting daily activities Assist with quality control and safety compliance on the jobsite Help resolve any issues that arise during construction Attend project meetings and take accurate minutes Prepare reports for the construction manager as requested Perform other duties as assigned This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in construction management or engineering The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
with minimal supervision Qualifications Junior or Senior working towards a degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related field GPA of 3.0 or higher Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Additional job duties/responsibilities (Not in Description): The team member must be able to work effectively in a challenging environment, quickly learn new and unfamiliar concepts and tasks, collaborate with other individuals in a constructive and effective manner, and meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities, with quality of work.
This is a full-time position which can involve over 40 hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the team member must be able to occasionally work early/late hours to deal with an urgent matter or delay.
