The Range Architectural line of effort will be enabled through innovative employment of cloud technologies, software development services, AI/ML, hardware modernization, and cyber security strategies. The Instrumentation Systems Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Provides technical planning and execution oversight of individual
projects associated with DTAMM Technical Direction Letters.
Arranges TDL kickoff meetings. Initiates transition-in and transition-out activities. Develops SLAs and performance metric criteria for each TDL. Coordinates with management personnel to appropriately staff projects with the necessary skill sets based on scope. Provides project reporting and ensures that projects remain in scope, and within budget and schedule constraints. Ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with project commitments or specific objectives. Responsible for day-to-day coordination and administration of tasks by ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting client schedules.
Coordinates with other contract and subcontract personnel to ensure work moves smoothly from one functional area to another. Works with technically diverse project teams to prepare work schedules and man-hour estimates. Provides or coordinates written management or program plans, maintenance and operations instructions, task status analysis, cost reports, and other related documents. Ensures all administrative tools are effectively used to control and accomplish tasks and may provide operations security protection for all sensitive/critical information.
Responsible for status and task management reports for area of responsibility. May manage more than one project. Qualifications Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree eight (8+) years relevant professional experience; OR Master's degree and six (6+) years of relevant experience; OR Ph D and three (3+) years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Position requires an active Secret security clearance Demonstrated ability managing technically complex instrumentation development/modernization projects. Experience using software based project management tools and customer coordination portals.
