K ey Responsibilities & Results: Configure and maintain Connexus Energys SCADA system to improve the efficiency, reliability,
and prevent damage to the electric distribution system with support from the Engineering staff Perform distribution system analysis to support distribution system planning and engineering efforts With direction from the Engineering staff configure, install, and maintain the control system for running customer owned distributed generation to reduce the Cooperative’s demand charges, and to improve the efficiency Support the Engineering team to enable others to perform their jobs effectively Provide technical support in order to maintain safe and reliable distribution system operation Required Talents, Skills, Expertise, Education: Associates or 2-year technical degree in electrical technology, electric utility technology, energy services, engineering technician or related field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related systems. Strong organizational skills to maintain large amounts of data. Preferred Education and Expertise: Experience in utility engineering or related field Ability to read maps, staking sheets, electrical schematic diagrams Ability to learn and apply National Electrical Safety Code and construction standards The application review process will begin on November 10, 2023 and continue until filled.
