Job Summary: We are hiring for a Senior Principal Software Engineer to serve as an IPT Lead in the Software Engineering Directorate’s Effectors Center supporting a major Advanced Technology Hypersonic missile program as the Software Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL).
The Hypersonic Software IPTL is responsible for managing all cost, schedule, and execution for Software Engineering activities on the program. These activities include but are not limited
to Estimate at Completion Reviews (EACs), proposal reviews, staffing projections, and monthly metrics tracking. In addition, the IPTL will be the primary Software Engineering interface to the customer community, program management, and other stakeholders.

Represent the interests of the Software Engineering Directorate on the program. Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Directorate Managers, Department Manager and Systems and Performance IPT lead. Responsible for developing a team capable of delivering products that include Embedded Tactical flight software, MBIT software, Reprogramming software, Boot software. Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations for Software Engineering and software development, software integration, software test planning, coordination, execution, and reporting activities.
Identification, establishment and implementation of best practices and lessons learned. Represent the Raytheon Software Engineering team to the customer during regular programmatic and technical meetings. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other STEM related field and 10 years of experience. Active and transferable Secret U.
