Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. throughout a workday, at times unassisted. Knowledge of hand tools and power tools and the ability/skill to use them, ex: Circular saw, hammer, wrenches, ratchet, drill, impact wrench, rivet tool, banding tool, etc. Ability to push, pull, and/or lift heavy equipment. Ability to load and/or unload gym equipment, weights, and rubber flooring onto trucks, loading docks, gyms, or homes.
At times, up or down stairs. Use of safe lifting practices. Ability to periodically work in an outdoor environment during varying weather conditions. Qualifications and Skills: Must possess valid Driver’s license and be able to drive a 26’ box truck. Must be able to safely operate a forklift (certificate required). Must possess excellent interpersonal communications and organizational skills. Must be able to work overtime and/or weekend hours when needed. Must be able to travel locally and out of the city, occasionally (usually a one-week to two-week notice will be given, but sometimes it’s short notice).
Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work. Must be able to lift at least 75lbs unassisted. (we’re not kidding). Must have great manual dexterity. Must have some mechanical knowledge, comprehension and be able to use tools.
