About the Job: As a Vet Technician in the Radiology and Imaging departments you will be responsible for: Anesthesia Induction Partnering with DVM's in patient backssment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures Perform anesthetic monitoring including intubation/extubation of patients, monitoring vitals, and troubleshooting of machines Obtain and prepare various blood samples for diagnostic testing Accurately take and process multiple types of radiographs Oversee outpatient and inpatient radiology and imaging schedules, coordinate with other departments, staff and radiologists Assist Advanced
Imaging Technicians with high quality MRI/CT studies Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner Trouble-shooting the machines and associated equipment Will need to have good knowledge of anatomy Possess effective communication with clients, radiologists, and specialists Will participate in the on-call rotation and will help patient care when the imaging department has down time Practicing proper radiation safety About You: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal setting required.
Recent graduates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology will be considered. Comprehensive understanding and experience with
anesthetic monitoring is preferred. Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens and working knowledge of radiographic techniques is required Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected. Schedule - 4/10 Hour Shifts Our compensation for this role depends on skillset, experience, licensure and typically falls between $25.00 and $40.00 plus on-call pay and bonus.
