lines Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be asked to perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need Class A CDL preferred At least two years of backhoe experience Knowledge of use, function and maintenance of manual tools and equipment applicable to the position. Knowledge of application of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (tested). Knowledge of construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution pipeline systems. Working knowledge and training relative to: Work in excavations and confined spaces Basic customer service activities Company and governmental operating/safety

procedures Fuse plastic pipe Characteristics of natural gas Knowledge in basic computer functions and software.

Understanding of how to read and interpret maps, atlas pages, blueprints, and job orders. Read and write fluently in English. Applicable driver's license. Qualified Plastic Fusion Technician certification. Applicable Operator Qualifications. Lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds 10 15 times a day; up to 40 pounds 7 10 times a day; over 50 pounds 5 6 times a day. Climb into and out of excavations. Travel over uneven terrain including: Mud Gravel Sand Rocks Ice Snow React immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others.

Smell odorant in natural gas. Detect and react to warning signals at work sites. Operate tools and equipment. Communicate and exchange information and instructions including use of company two way radio and company cell phones. Peripheral vision and accurate depth perception. Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
