Gathering both business and technical requirements and actively contributing to the design and development of new business dashboards and configurations.
Providing technical leadership and solution guidance to graduates and contract observability personnel. Implementing, operating, and optimizing Elasticsearch platforms and supporting pipelines. Contributing to the design and understanding of architectural trade-offs, including Scalability, Resiliency, High Availability, and Security. Implementing solutions to
analyse business data and architect data structures using Elasticsearch. Developing and managing high-volume data ingestions and real-time data flow processes. Implementing Dynatrace Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and building required alerting to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Collaborating with SRE teams to develop a standard metrics framework for measuring performance and availability. Developing visualizations and Dashboards in Kibana/Dynatrace to provide single-pane views for end-user experience, application, and infrastructure. Collaborating with data engineers to define data models across various telemetry data in Observability (log, metrics events). Planning and
implementing scalable and reliable pipelines and processes to ingest data from a variety of upstream sources.
Automated configuration and deployment of Observability platforms. Tuning and improving the performance and throughput of data ingested in Elasticsearch. Creating Machine Learning models using Kibana built-in ML and Python. Your skills to pay the bills Knowledge and experience in Elasticsearch framework. Extensive experience in IT and integration engineering. Hands-on experience in Dynatrace with Davis engine and synthetic URL monitoring. Hands-on experience in one or more data technologies (e. g. Elasticsearch or Splunk). Hands-on experience in scripting Python, UNIX Shell, Perl.
Extensive experience in working with time-series data and critical application metrics (e. g. Java JMX, thread pools, GC, etc. ). Understanding of data modeling techniques. Hands-on experience in data visualization using Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk. Hands-on experience with querying languages (KQL, SQL, No SQL, Lucene). Extensive experience in APM (application performance monitoring). Experience in web and application server setup and administration on RHEL, including Apache web server, JBoss AS, and Websphere AS. Experience with cloud monitoring in AWS or Azure.
