and terminal product development projects for the automotive industry through all product development phases required to bring concepts into production. You will also be a key liaison for customer interactions with OEMs in the region. Job Responsibilities: Concept Design and Development Execute concept development activities with some guidance from senior engineer.

Expected to provide concepts that are manufacturable, cost effective, & meet customer requirements. Execute DFMEA, FEAs, Tolerance Analysis and other theoretical studies. Support documentation of the project scope, requirements, feasibility, & engineering workplan. Supports senior engineer & product management in capturing

customer needs. Develop & communicate mitigation plan for areas of risk. Create product models & drawings using GD&T methodology (Datum selection, dimensioning and tolerancing aligned with function) with some guidance from senior engineer.

Responsible for material selection and justification with focus on resins for plastic injection molding components and metals for stamping components. High Current/High Voltage automotive connector development including: + Understanding of High Voltage industry performance standards. + Knowledge in creepage and clearances, shielding, HVIL and sealing. + Develop design standards and best practices. + Knowledge in cable harness build process. + Thermal

and electrical simulation experience. Design Verification & Product Validation Develop test plans (DVP&Rs) to validate product performance and analyze test results using statistical methods.

DOEs Hypothesis Testing Capability Studies Production Support Lead root cause analysis in High Voltage Connectors utilizing structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) Other Duties Engineering representative with OEMs in the region for high voltage connectors. Knowledge expert for regional needs and preferences in High Voltage applications. Identifies and provides feedback with recommendations to senior engineer of project needs. Create / maintain engineering timelines, escalate barriers, and drive projects to completion.

Support senior engineer at technical reviews with internal and external customers using effective, tactful, verbal, and written communication skills. Education & Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent science degree. 3 years product design experience with basic knowledge in material mechanics, manufacturing processes, & engineering processes/tools (as defined in responsibilities).
