The Data Centre team is looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to transform operations and scale it out regionally. Make an Impact by Comprehending business requirements and be able to map them to software design and implementation with a focus on improving operational readiness for web-based applications Place a strong emphasis
on building solutions to automate development and operational systems Develop, architect, and introduce improvements to a multi-team build/test/deploy system Research new development technologies and tools that can help us automate and scale our systems Implementing scalable systems to automate any systems requiring manual intervention.
Work with development teams to support multiple environments Setting up, deploying, and maintain scalable, high availability systems Establish standards of practice across the development teams Being responsible for the integrity of the software build and deploy processes and overall quality of code versioning and integration across development, test and
production environments Implement, improve, and support Dev Ops tools for software configuration management, build, deploy continuous integration, automated testing and automated self-service release management Writing scripts/programmes for service monitoring and health check of systems Skills for Success Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 2 years’ experience in System Administration Knowledge and experience in web/PHP development Knowledge on Dev Ops design patterns, processes, and best practices.
Ability to drive offshore team and own the deliverables. Network Skills (topologies, firewall rules, load balancers, firewalls, Virtual Private Network (VPNs), Domain Name Server (DNS).
