Where you come in: Design, setup, and perform electrical, mechanical, or related experiments in the lab Design, fabricate, document, and troubleshoot PCBAs, test fixtures and equipment

Write code for simple automation of test equipment and external devices Improve and/or optimize existing test equipment, fixtures, and methods Support development of new or improved test methods simulating actual product use conditions Generate and execute test protocols leveraging statistical best practices, documenting the results Analyze experimental data and develop conclusions Build and evaluate prototypes Draft and edit SOP's, MPI's and LHR's related to materials, processes, and test methods Maintain a laboratory notebook Work closely with all supporting groups and departments to understand/define needs and maintain relationship throughout the test system development process As

needed, guide small team of junior engineer(s) in the achievement of project goals Work with component suppliers to specify and acquire quotes that are needed for fixture design Work with outside test houses to verify functionality of system against test criteria.
