Owner of the overall architecture of the teams products, including features and maintenance both in terms of technical debt and customer total cost of ownership; Perform architectural and incremental deliverables review; Manage engineering standards across developed products to be aligned both with internal teams and outside consumers / customers; Review feedback from the internal support department and public users to identify issues in existing products and their respective priority; Work with team members to backss the gravity of the reports and mitigation steps; Reach out to other departments to coordinate
efforts when dealing with cross-teams issues.
Advise Elasticsearch executive leadership on potential acquisitions and/or partnerships from a technical perspective by backssing the available features, integration points and development time; Review other projects at the early stage of development, including proof of concepts and provide guidance and feedback in assembling the technical roadmap.
Review any technical innovations developed across the team and recommend whether patent application is warranted; Analyze external products for potential license or intellectual property infringements. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U. S. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree
