You will also manage a project team across different functional areas and lead pre-sale activities to responding to tenders; managing staff’s performance, feedback and morale; taking ownership of staff’s project assignments; taking full accountability of projects’ development milestones and project financials.

Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering service delivery team, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of engineering projects and services. Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects,

ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with our engineering services.

Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project demands and ensure the right skills and expertise are available for each project. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance and success of engineering projects and service delivery. Manage contracts and subcontractors Effectively engaged stakeholders in project decisions and execution Build long-term customer

relationships by anticipating and exceeding customer’s expectation Negotiate with customers on change control mechanism to meet schedules and prioritize changes based on business needs Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and take proactive measures to mitigate these risks.

Continuously review and optimize service delivery processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall client satisfaction. Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for engineering projects, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective project delivery. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, sales, and marketing, to align service delivery strategies with overall business objectives.

Proactively identify opportunities for further expansion or improvement of services delivered to the customer and liaise with the Account Manager(s) for development of that opportunity Participate in tenders and contribute to tender proposal, provide inputs in project delivery effort, risks and review compliance to tender requirement Be involved in pre-sale activities and provide leadership to the project team to ensure that proposals/ enhancements are fully analysed and evaluated for benefits and cost Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of engineering service delivery.

Foster the professional growth and development of team members through training, coaching, and mentoring. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent Proven experience (10+ years) in engineering service delivery or project management roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level position. Strong technical background in engineering principles, processes, and methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements in engineering service delivery is a plus Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques Able to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship Able to travel as and when required
