What you'lldo : Coreduties and responsibilities include the following. Performsminor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary. Completesemergency, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks. Troubleshootsmechanical breakdown situations to eliminate future occurrences. Performs awide range of operations connected with maintenance, repair
and installation ofequipment and plating lines (water, gas, air, etc. ). Dismantlesand inspects parts, rebuild/overhaul and troubleshoot plating line and machinecomponents, such as gearboxes, filters and agitation mechanisms, bushings, sleeves, etc.
Services and maintainsmiscellaneous material handling equipment. Completesinspections of production areas, offices, and laboratories with Maintenance Manager. Performsstructural work to include carpentry, welding, pipe fitting, sheet metal work, plumbing, and electrical incidental to work assignments. Respondsquickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and followsafety protocol. Maintainswork area, shop floor and equipment
in a neat, clean, and orderly condition. Completesrecords, forms and data entry as required by job.
Strives toeliminate any unscheduled equipment downtime. Maintainsconsumables and replacement part inventory. Moves andinstalls of equipment. Is responsiblefor accuracy of preventative and predictive maintenance program. Performsother related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Our Perfect Candidate Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED, Trade School/Vocational. HVACCertifications are welcomed or any job-related certifications in Plumbing, or Electricity. Minimum5 years of experience in facility maintenance. Minimum1 year experience of maintenance at a metal finishing facility.
Experiencedin operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers andsmall hand tools. Abilityto wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, goggles or face shields, aprons, boots, gloves, and other PPE based uponrequirements in working area.
