- Senior Maintenance Mechanic - Career Service The anticipated hiring salary for this position is $37,128.00 - $40,840.80 This is an overlap position located in the Plumbing Department Description Perform a full plumbing program here at Sunland.

This is to include but not limited to installation, repair or replacement of plumbing, fixtures, sinks, valves, commodes, water heaters, water coolers, thermal lines, steam lines, steam traps, drain lines, sewage lines, floor drains, steam kettles, dish machines, etc.

This is to be done on a daily and on-going basis. Perform a full preventative maintenance program on all plumbing related equipment. This is to include but not limited to

hot and cold-water lines, water heaters, coolers, thermal lines, steam kettles, dish machine, sewage lines, valves, pumps, boilers, chillers, etc. on a daily and on-going basis.

Maintain and carry out preventative maintenance program in relationship to the buildings at Sunland. Example but not limited to repairing, installing, and changing windowpanes, repairing roofs and gutters, wash walls, clean and paint mechanical rooms, any task deemed necessary to preserve the life of the buildings on a daily and on-going basis. Perform other related duties as specified by supervisor. Keep material on hand to maintain Sunland's plumbing. This is to be done on a daily and on-going basis. Operate

a backhoe and other related equipment to keep Sunland operating on a daily and on-going basis.

Perform welding and soldering as needed to keep Sunland operating on a daily and on-going basis. The position will be required to work shift hours as needed. Shift hours include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours. Maintain tool control and tool control logs. Process work orders. Perform other related duties as required. Complete all assigned staff training deemed mandatory. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or its equivalent One year of experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, or electrical or mechanical equipment Valid driver's license Experience, education, and/or training used to meet the minimum qualifications and in response to the qualifying questions must be verifiable through information contained in your application.

This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035. This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.
