This is a full-time position that i s responsible for assisting with the administration and resolution of operational and management problems as they relate to criminal justice information.
Additionally, this position provides research and analysis relative to state and national laws, rules and regulations that directly and indirectly impact the maintenance or dissemination of criminal justice information. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific duties include: Conducts
thorough research and analysis of information from multiple resources to formulate a recommendation on administrative, operational and systematic issues or enhancements; Assists management in the quality assurance of criminal history records; Conducts analysis of documentation gathered for specialized requests and assists in the determination of impact of proposed law or rules changes; Monitors systems for operational concerns and immediately consults with management and appropriate technical staff to correct issues or programmatic concerns; Monitors workflows and assists in the completion of operational activities; Performs other related duties where appropriate or as requested by division leadership;
Conducts research and analysis for special projects related to the division strategic goals or as assigned by management; Collaborates with internal and external customers in order to gather documentation required to formulate a recommendation as required and within defined timeframes; Effectively utilizes resources available to ensure maintenance of complete and accurate criminal history records; and Maintains liaison with local, state and federal agencies and the general public by means of telephone, correspondence or personal contact.

Degrees must be from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U. S. Department of Education. Management This position is located in Tallahassee, FL The Florida Division of Emergency Management plans for and responds to both natural and man-made disasters.
These range from floods and hurricanes to incidents involving hazardous materials or nuclear power.
The Division of Emergency Management (FDEM or Division) is the liaison between federal, state, and local agencies. FDEM prepares and implements a statewide Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, routinely conducts extensive exercises to test state and county emergency response capabilities, provides technical assistance to local governments as they prepare emergency plans and procedures, as well as conducts emergency
operations trainings for state and local government agencies. The Division serves as the lead agency for the State Emergency Response Team (SERT), whose primary goal is the coordination of the state’s efforts during disaster response and recovery.
This coordination is conducted within the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in Tallahassee. Additionally, the Division manages the State Watch Office; the 24-hours a day operation tasked with providing situational awareness to stakeholders statewide. After a disaster, FDEM conducts damage backssment surveys and advises the Governor of the state of Florida on whether to declare an emergency and seek federal relief funds. It is against

Position Overview and Responsibilities: This position serves as a primary point of contact for end-user support, conducting necessary troubleshooting, and system/equipment maintenance. Evaluates and backsses the functionality and efficacy of various systems. Develops and implements plans/courses of action and conducts: system and hardware installation, upgrades, and preventative maintenance. Works in the field as necessary and may deploy to remote locations with little notice for extended periods.
Assists other telecommunications staff with Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (RACES) and the Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) groups in Florida with developing and implementing programs to expand its volunteer base. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Leads cloud program and efforts to develop reporting documents on the Department’s Cloud Services Strategy. Coordinates with project team members to provide status reports as required by the Department of Management Services (DMS) as well as the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) management. Evaluates and documents the impact analysis and risk factors associated with cloud hosting and migration projects. Coordinates with members from external agencies and internal DOT offices on key initiatives, including cloud governance to ensure guidelines are followed and services are delivered.
Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Monitors effectively, control and support Cloud Services ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are followed. Facilitate multi-cloud solutions to meet enterprise-wide infrastructure needs. Establish and implement management processes and methodologies for requesting cloud technology services community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
