Job Summary: Raytheon is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the program as part of our mission support team.
The mission support engineer works with our end users, customers, stake holders and program management to ensure user needs are properly addressed by the program. This includes a detailed understanding the Multi-INT collection orchestration mission, end user intelligence needs and how to apply the systems capabilities
in support of the customer’s needs. Responsibilities to Anticipate: The mission support engineer provides recommendations for system improvements and conducts user training and external demonstrations to stakeholders.
The mission support engineer is responsible for driving and prioritizing mission enhancements into the technical baseline and coordinating approaches across internal and external stakeholders. The mission support engineer can also be embedded with the customer and users with a part time presence at site to ensure user needs or operational issues are well understood and technical solutions/corrective actions are coordinated and implemented expeditiously. Communicating status,
results, and recovery plans (if needed) to the Program Chief Engineer Basic Qualifications (Required): Typically requires Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience, OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience, OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
In-depth understanding of Multi-INT Collection Orchestration missions. Ability to create models in support of diverse set of mission needs and users. Ability to define and conduct system integration tests of the system including test data generation, acceptance criteria, configuration settings, and test method. Travel to user and customer locations may be required.
Position must be in Aurora CO location to support a part-time on-site presence. Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US Do D Current TS/SCI Preferred Qualifications: Systems Engineering experience with requirements decomposition to S/W subsystems, S/W use case development and S/W feature development. Ability to troubleshoot complex S/W systems and develop issue closure plans with coordinated solutions across internal teams and external stakeholders. The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
