JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides integration, test, verification, and validation support of software systems and applications deployed aboard unmanned vehicles and shore based operation centers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads the development of software test procedures and conducting functional test, system integration test, and computer program acceptance testing for new and existing software baselines. Leads the development of software to perform automated tests using
existing test tools and scripting languages such as Bash and Python. Generates test plan, test scenarios in an Agile environment, integrate tests into a Continuous Integration Framework, monitor test executions, and verify test results.
Oversees development of test parameters and requirements for traceability to SRS. Leads proof of concept field testing, data analysis, defect correction, and defect qualification for shore site and unmanned platform trials and test events as well as any required operational test events. Evaluates, verifies, and validates software to interface with the host-unmanned platform systems. Defines, develops, and uses simulation programs, test tools, data extraction
and recording tools, as necessary to perform software development, Quality Assurance (QA), and system debug.
Supports software development using Continuous Deployment, Agile, and Development and Operations (Dev Ops) methodologies enabling continuous development and test. Helps project progression in accordance with the product integration roadmap development, requirements discussions and definition, development/pipeline feature creation, and software bug reporting resolution as well as supporting various reviews, TEMs, and working groups. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors with 5 years of related professional experience Active Secret Clearance (interim Secret acceptable to start) Experience with field integration and testing of software systems Experience conducting work using Dev Ops, Agile methodologies, and participating in Scrums Experience developing technical documents and configuration management Strong written and verbal communication abilities with technical and programmatic teammates Desired experience with unmanned systems support and operations at-sea and ashore Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000.
