Responsibilities of this position include the following: Under direct supervision, provide accurate, timely, and known solutions to end user computer and networking problems of basic to moderately complex nature to ensure end-user productivity. troubleshooting and technical skills. Respond to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software installations, moves, and configuration changes.
Maintain accurate information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards. Establish a working relationship and understanding of dedicated support area to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients and management. Develop, work through, and complete small projects as well as document processes and procedures according to corporate standards. Delegate responsibilities of the project to appropriate team members and
provide status to supervisors and clients. Perform other tasks as requested or assigned.
In addition to the above, the responsibilities of the Level 2 include the following: Provide independent end user technical support with a high degree of autonomy. Coordinate configuration/installation and troubleshooting of PC hardware and software. Implement hardware and software testing. Require ability to develop, work through, and complete technical projects. Able to document processes and procedures according to corporate standards. Provide status reports and problem summaries. Provide remote PC support and troubleshooting. Work with other IT departments as needed to support the IT infrastructure.
Can include installing and troubleshooting server and networking hardware. Position also acts as a liaison relating business issues to technical teams.
