Job Summary: Primary responsibility is for the general upkeep of the Cathedral campus, church, hall and rectory. Overall responsibilities involve some lite maintenance and custodial duties. Special projects and other duties as assigned. Facility Services Tech reports directly to the Director of Development/Facility

Operations for duties, schedules and special assignments. Essential Job Duties: Maintenance: Grounds keeping - keeping outdoor areas orderly and free from trash.

Replacing Air Filters Painting Changing light bulbs Minor repairs Custodial: Mopping, Sweeping, dusting, vacuuming Empty trash and recycling bins Cleaning restrooms Event Support: Set-up and clean-up Opening/Closing buildings Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of cleaning practices General knowledge and ability to use tools Ability to work independently and in a team setting Organizational skills/detail oriented Adaptable to change Able to interact with the public Able to speak, read and write efficiently Bilingual is

a plus but not necessary Must be able to lift 40lbs Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 1 year of experience preferred but willing to train Catholic Requirement: yes Licenses/Certifications: Must be certified in Diocese of Austin EIM within 60 days of employment and maintain certification throughout the employment period.
