groups with both traditional and hard-to-place risks. About the role What you need to know: The Personal Accident Claim Examiner will be responsible to handle all aspects of claim resolution for assigned claims while providing world class service to external and internal customers.
Responsibilities Include: Confirm coverage of claims by reviewing policies and documents submitted in support of claims. Analyze coverage and communicate coverage position. Conduct, coordinate, and direct investigation into loss facts. Determine eligibility of claims and amounts owed under the terms of the contract. Recognize and pursue subrogation where warranted. for: A highly organized individual with ability to work in a high pace environment.
At least 1 year of Insurance claims experience, with exposure to Accident and Health claims or medical bill processing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret insurance policies. Must be able to work in a high pace, team oriented environment. Accident and Health State Adjuster licenses a plus.
