Duties: Provide legal counsel and transactional support in community development projects involving NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure and negotiate complex financing transactions. Conduct legal research and analysis related to federal income tax laws and regulations. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and financing documents. Stay
informed about changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to impact finance transactions. Requirements:0-5 years of transactional experience. Strong interest in community development transactions utilizing NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs.
Experience with NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs is helpful. Candidates with commercial real estate experience, commercial lending experience, structured finance, and/or general federal income tax experience are well-suited. Active license to practice law. Education: Juris Doctor (J. D. ) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active license to practice law. Skills: Excellent written and analytical skills. Superior academic performance.
