Design and implement work plans to ensure clients' compliance with a diverse range of privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act, Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act, and EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Provide expertise in backssing legal exposure and developing strategies for clients to meet evolving privacy requirements. Conducting risk backssments, and collaborating with clients to document data flows and related compliance
requirements. Develop and lead training programs for junior associates to enhance their understanding of privacy laws and best practices. Utilize 7-10 years of legal experience, with a preference for in-house experience as a full-time employee or secondee.
Hold active admission to the California Bar. Demonstrate a deep familiarity with key U. S. and global privacy laws, staying abreast of updates and changes in regulations. Prioritize experience within the telecommunications industry. Possess a CIPP/US certification, demonstrating advanced knowledge of U. S. privacy laws (preferred).
