We are hiring a Director of Communications to work closely with our founder to tell our story and amplify our mission and vision.
This is our first Communications hire, and an exciting role for leaders who are purpose-driven, tech-minded, and can't help but see the whole system. This role is based in New York. You will: Conceive and lead initiatives to increase System’s visibility in target industries, with an initial focus on healthcare and life sciences Identify stories
of our impact and innovations and determine the best ways to communicate them (be that a scientific paper, an event, an op-ed, etc. ) Develop and lead creative, brand, and communications strategy to support System’s business goals, working closely with our design team Manage media relations and develop contacts with media members and relevant thought leaders Manage events and conferences Work closely with cross-functional teams to support key business initiatives, such as product launches, corporate events, and partnerships Track engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions Maintain a pulse on product through collaboration with our product and business development teams
You have: A minimum of 3 years of strategic-level communications experience at a mission-driven organization A clear, effective communications style, both verbally and in text A go-getter attitude, you are extroverted by nature The ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment while effectively prioritizing and driving a variety of activities independently and in collaborations with other internal functions (ie: Product, Business Development, and Design) Experience in the health and life sciences sector is a plus For more details: jobs-search.
