Understand, create, and upkeep QMS plant documentation with a special emphasis on creating documentation to support customer and internal audit activities, and certifications to external customer requirements. Promote continuous improvement by coordinating action on continuous improvement suggestions, lead and manage employee suggestion programs for the facility and drive suggestions to closure using a team approach. Assists with facility quoting activities. Conduct and complete customer supplier audits and lead customer visits when required. Manage and drive calibrations to closure by making sure responsible areas get calibrations completed, approved, and closed. Learn and perform CQI-9 audits and customer submittals as required. Serves as a key auditor for monthly safety walk-throughs.
