Provide support and engineer & design updates for existing machines Develop and determine equipment specifications and performance parameters. Create and contribute information that production teams, service teams, sales teams, and customers will use to produce, apply, service, and operate the equipment. Generate bills of material Create shop drawings - primarily in Solidworks, with exposure to Auto CAD Responsible for reviewing sales orders and customer specifications Partner with fellow Engineers and Production team(s) to evaluate cost efficiency, safety & manufacturability of products, providing technical support to production as needed, to ensure design changes are implemented as necessary.
Responsible for meeting design & engineering schedule milestones to support customer expectations Design of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits including selection and specification of components, and creation of schematics. Sizing and specification of power train components such as motors, reducers, belts, pulleys, and gears. Knowledge and use of Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Mechanics.
