What you will do Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing. Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation Operate CT equipment and select technical factors Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time. Document all related

data. Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.

Other Responsibilities Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics. Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems. Resolve and escalate complex issues. Orient and train fellow staff technologists. Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations. Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays. Other shifts as assigned All other duties as assigned Education Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Required Technical Diploma Radiology Program Required Experience Qualifications At least three (3) years experience Required Pediatric Experience Preferred Skills and Abilities Intermediate knowledge of computed tomography imaging Intermediate knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)Intermediate knowledge of radiology information systems Intermediate knowledge of HIPAA regulations Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Power Point)Excellent interpersonal skillinteractioncellent time management skillinteractioncellent organizational skills Licenses and Certifications Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - upon hire - Required or Computed Tomography (CT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) - upon hire - Required and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex.
