Position: Quality Assurance Manager Status: Full-time Salary: $70-80K/year Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, occasional evening/weekend hours About this role: This position serves to establish quality standards and procedures and monitor the work of others to ensure those standards are met.
Responsibilities include ensuring consistent quality of operations, production, and manufacturing, and preparing documentation and reports about the
quality processes and products while developing and growing a philosophy of quality across the entire manufacturing plant. What you'll do: Work closely with General Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager in evaluating quality.
Work closely with GM, PM, and BSM evolving and validating all process improvements. Evaluate all work instruction processes for efficiencies and standardization. Responsible for developing comprehensive QMS toward eventual ISO 9000 Compliance. Directly supervise Company BO Analyst in the thorough implementation of all such practices. Develop and implement employee quality education and training. Develop, formalize, and oversee formal polices for Company Risk Management.
Provide for complex customer project management when necessary.
Oversee all INFOSEC compliance and development with Information Technology. Oversee all processes and maintenance involving company databases and/or MIS-ERP. Oversee all aspects of companywide systems software feasibility and implementation. Oversee, develop, and implement formally adopted policies affecting ESG. Maintain proactive participation in the evolution and implementation of DEI Initiatives. Maintain proactive oversight of all safety and health policies and practices. Directly supervises the company's Business Operations Analyst as well as instructs general staff and supervision in correct quality implementation procedures.
Other duties as assigned. What you'll contribute to our team: Bachelor's degrees in mathematical statistics and/or business administration beneficial, manufacturing and/or commercial printing experience taken into consideration. ISO 9000 Lead and Internal Audit Certification preferred. ISO 9001 Certification also preferred. Exceptional capacity in all aspects of quality assurance and process improvement. Highly developed knowledge of overall quality philosophy as relating to manufacturing. Ongoing mastery of management information systems and companywide databases.
Exceptional attention to detail is paramount in all aspects of the job. Ability to think critically as well as creatively to troubleshoot quality issues. Ability to continually refine processes, procedures, and communications and evaluate results. Ability to self-train in new software applications using electronic, web, and written forms.
