The Main Responsibilities As an IT Quality Assurance intern within Lumen’s
Product and Technology organization, you can expect to work with a team of developers who support multiple quoting applications.
This team works with our Product team to help support their quoting and ordering applications. Day-to-day could include: • Testing tasks in an IT development team, as part of a Quality Assurance role. • Test User Stories for some of our quoting systems • Document test completion • Report any bugs found • Track those bugs until resolved • Participate in all Scrum ceremonies (daily, refinement, planning, retrospective) What We Look For in a Candidate Education Requirements o Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior Bachelor’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2024 – June 2025.
o Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or similar STEM technical degree field. Proficiency and understanding of; o Interest in pursuing an IT career. o Strong communication skills o Proficient in Microsoft Suite Professional Attributes o Strong drive for results and taking initiative o Ability to be resourceful and adaptable o Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Ability to interact with business partners and drive the conversation.
o Flexible and adapts well to change Work Setting o This is a fully remote – work from home position. o Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours per week during the 10-week program (June – August) Compensation Internship compensation ranges depends on each individuals level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.
