loading and unloading trucks, entering required data into warehouse management system. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Loads/unloads stacks and moves items as assigned. May sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units.
May mark or put identifying labels on product loads. May record movement of stock in/out of work areas. Monitors materials, products and equipment at each step of process and reports irregularities to supervisor. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule - load, pack, wrap, label, ship Receive and process warehouse stock products -pick, unload, label, store Perform inventory controls
and keep quality standards high for audits including cycle counts and physical inventory Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Complete inventory logs and report any discrepancies including entering information into DMS or other systems to include COA's.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers. Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. Perform any other assigned tasks. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to operate standup forklift (observation may be required during interview). Experience using
an RF scanner for material movement and tracking required. Experience operating high-reach lift and double-high-reach lift a plus!
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred. Experience operating computer preferred, specifically AS400 WMS (i. e. DMS) a plus! Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel also a plus! Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary. Must be able to work in warm/wet/humid environment as well as occasionally work in freezing temps between -20 to 28 degrees for freezer area (PPE provided) May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
Position may include exposure to dairy, nut, wheat, soy and other allergens. Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. Be able to effectively work with a team. Be able to legibly write entries for record keeping. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
